Counterpart Youth Ministry
Our weekly Wednesday night youth meeting is open to all high school and middle school students. Meetings begin at 6:30 PM and continue until 8:30 PM and are located at our church building. Students can expect food, games, and lively discussion. Outreach and seasonal ministry events within the community are also party of Counterpart ministry. Counterpart Youth is lead by husband and wife team Justin and Jess Adkins.
On Sunday mornings, we invite our middle school students to attend their Sunday school class, lead by Donna McCann. High school students are encouraged to attend the main meeting and to help by ministering in different areas at the church.
On Sunday mornings, children’s Sunday school meets for an exciting time of worship, learning, and growing with God, while having lots of fun!
Sunday school is for kids age 4 and up and meets during the main service. In Sunday school at Catoctin Bible Church, kids hear the Gospel and learn why they need to have a heart to tell their friends about Christ. They learn that after they trust Christ, it’s important to live their lives for the Lord and grow in Christ. Reading their Bible, praying, and telling others about Christ helps them grow. Each week there is a lesson from the Bible with an illustration, as well as prizes and goodies.
Sunday school should be something you wake up for and don’t want to miss! Children’s ministry is lead by husband and wife team Eugene and Anne Marie Catedral.
Home Group Fellowship
Home Groups are an opportunity to build relationships and community within the church. At Home Group, we take the Biblical principals we learn on Sundays from Pastor Jeff and walk through the application of those principals as a smaller group. We also enjoy getting to know each other and spending time in fellowship as brothers and sisters in Christ. We invite you to join us on Sunday evenings or Wednesday nights! This fall, Home Groups are focusing on a 6 week session on personal evangelism.
There are two Home Groups connected with CBC. For more information on when and where to meet, contact Spiro Ballas firstname.lastname@example.org
Ladies' Bible Study / Fellowship
The Ladies' Bible Study and Fellowship meets at the church beginning in the fall and ending in the summer. Childcare is available upon request.
Ladies’ Bible study is an opportunity for women of the church to build community and join together to study the word of God alongside one another. The Bible study is lead by Pastor Jeff’s wife, Donna McCann at the church. To request childcare, or for more information, please contact Donna McCann.
Missions: Trip To The Philippines
Eugene and Ann Marie direct the children's ministry here at CBC. This May, the Catedrals are journeying to Eugene's home village in the Philippines. They will be there to equip and encourage the children's ministry of Good Hope Baptist Church. Eugene and Ann Marie will be bringing material, curriculum, and lessons in print and electronic media, as well as some computer type hardware.
They will run a week-long VBS and work to give a higher profile to the children's ministry in the area. In addition, they will evaluate volunteer programs and do training. During their trip, Eugene and Ann Marie will have numerous opportunities to network with surrounding churches, their leadership, and pastors.
If Ann Marie and Eugene have touched your life or your children's lives in any way, please support them on this mission trip so they can touch the lives of children in the Philippines. You can donate through paypal or by mailing a check to Catoctin Bible Church - with a memo about Missions
